We SLR ANITA AB are a Latvian forestry company that specializes in the field of forestry and forest conservation. In cooperation with JSC “Latvian State Forests”, we develop regeneration, release and sanitation cutting. Over the years, we have accumulated experience so that we can efficiently provide our services with high quality and in an environmentally friendly manner with full confidence and responsibility.

Logging is a responsible and gentle job. To pleasantly return to the place where the forestry work was carried out, we use techniques that correspond to the type of logging, the actual season and the bearing capacity of the soil. For proper and safe logging, it is necessary to understand the stages of forest growth and the sequence of logging.

The first step is to prepare the soil and then plant the new trees. Next – care of young plants, which includes release and sanitation cutting, then care and cleaning of undergrowth according to the stage of growth. When the forest has reached full maturity, regeneration cutting is performed. The cycle then starts again.

We perform daily work thanks to our equipment. The forestry equipment that we have at our disposal are harvesters and forwarders:

We use small and medium-sized equipment in release cutting and sanitation cutting, because they are lighter, more maneuverable and gentler on forest soil.
We use large equipment, such as the John Deere 1110G forwarder, in main felling with larger volumes, because it has a higher load-bearing capacity. If necessary, we equip the machine with tracks and perform logging even more efficiently.

We also have a front loader – an excavator that is very useful for restoring, cleaning and digging ditches. In addition, it is a great help when you need to clean up bushy properties.
